Edy is a writer, editor, teacher, and publicist based in pdx
She works with Buckman Journal. She enjoys reading work that is polyphonic and critical, lyrical and inventive.
Edy’s writing has appeared in Chicago Review and Pile Press, among Others. She runs Intertext, a substack comprised of poetic essays and interviews with artists and writers about their influences.
Edy has worked in various roles involving editorial management, creative direction, and brand strategy across many fields including publishing, fashion, sustainability, advertising, and technology. She also teaches yoga at Forge in NE Portland.
Edy recently completed an MA in Critical Studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) where she was awarded the 2023-2024 Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies Creative Writing Fellowship and a Critical Studies Thesis Writing Award.
All of Edy’s work is motivated by deep feeling and social reform. She can usually be found with tea and book in hand and is known for her spunky, bonafide personality.
