Edy is a writer and editor based in pdx
She has worked in various lead roles involving writing, brand strategy, editorial management, and creative direction across various fields including publishing, fashion, sustainability, advertising, and technology.
She currently works with Buckman Journal and enjoys reading work that is polyphonic and critical, lyrical and inventive.
Edy runs Intertext, a substack made up of poetic essays and chats with artists and writers about the people influencing their work. She also teaches yoga at Forge in NE Portland.
In 2024, Edy graduated with an MA in Critical Studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) where she was awarded the 2023-2024 Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies Creative Writing Fellowship and a Critical Studies Thesis Writing Award.
All of Edy’s work is motivated by deep feeling and social reform. She can typically be found with tea and book in hand.
